Underground music is a way for us, indie musicians to express and deliver. 

You touch us there, you touch our souls. 

No record label, with whatever control they had until now on the radio stations will break us down. 

Do not ever ever ever stop making music because you dont have enough money

Dont give up your soul. 

The music is and always will be the empowering energy behind our moves. 

It must stay, it must develop, and so shall it be.

We have made a great milestone today. 9lives indie musicians

We had planned this meeting for a long time now. 

It is a really important day for the band. 

This year we are going to release our first album. We have been discussing the band's strategy between us and decided to hire a manager. 

This way we will be able to concentrate mostly on creativity and performance. 

The manager will take care of booking, financial strategy and agenda, marketing, branding and PR. 

We have a tight timeline, there is still a lot to do until we are there. But the time is tight and right. 

Good luck 9 lives. 

Now we are done with the paper work, we had to drink something for this big event. So we drank beer. 

And then we drank more beer. 

And then we drank more beer

At this point we started to talk about girls, ladies, moms etc...

Then shlomi felt like touching my hair

I dont know, but I thought it was nice and thats it. But shlomi didnt let go. 

He said "wow, Yariv, this beer is fucking good. Give me, give me your hair for a second, I have to check something. 

Then shlomi told me about some difficulties that he has in life. I think the beer opened him up a little bit. 

He said that he has problems sleeping and that he had nightmares. 

I tolf him, "buddy, life aint a garden of roses is it?" And then I spit to the side just like mi old'man taught me. 

My spit got stuck on the lower part of the chair, and only then, it reached the floor, dropping there. It was a huge one. 

Just like mi old'man taught me. 

Shlomi was laughing all the time. 

I told him, "shlomi, try to behave yourself"

Shlomi said ok but he couldn't really stop. 

He was laughing for a second and then stopped, and then laughed again and then stopped. 

Amit said that he saw a tiger jumping inside the third floor of the building. Through the window. 

No one believed him, but Amit didn't care, he ran to the car to hide from the tiger. 

We didnt find Amit yet, he sent this photo, but since then, we never heard anything from him. 

Maybe the tiger ate him. 

Anyhow, we got home somehow, and shlomi said he wants to play a love song to john lennon. He composed it on his bass. 

These are the words, 

Lennon lennon johnny john...

Etc... Some other words with lennon and stuff. 

He was a bit drunk and the composition was so so, so I didnt record it yet. 

But I loved the words, johnny , lennon, I miss you etc...

Then shlomi fell asleep. 

I took the blanket and covered him. 

I hope he doesnt have nightmares. 

I spit again to the side and said

"Shlomi, life aint a garden of roses shlomi"

Sleep well dear friend, tomorrow is a new day. 

Then I spit again. 

Indie Musicians Take Over

Before we start our rehearsal, we have to sit for a minute and drink our coffee. 

Shlomi drinks turkish coffee with no sugar. He is on diet. 

Dekel is drinking his instant coffee with some milk, no sugar. 

Dekel is on a diet too. 

Now, shlomi and dekel decided to play the game "who is laughing first". 

We all wait until the game is over. 

We have a lot of patience to each other ;)

So now we are done with the coffee, we have to start playing before our time in the rehearsal room is over. 

Netanel and amit are waiting with a lot of patience, they had a bet. 

Netanel said that Dekel will laugh first, and Amit has put all his money (none) on shlomi. 

Anyhow, its like 15 minutes now into the game. Nobody is laughing yet. 

Suddenly we hear a car outside. 

Yes, its our drummer, he came right on time. 

Just before we are done with our coffee break. 

Shushu (the drummer) never smokes anything, so for him, there is no need for a coffee break. 

He skips the break. 

Here he is

You see how he giggles in his seat?

Now shlomi and dekel had to stop the game, they are upset. 

I took my gun and told everyone to get inside quick, they kept talking...

So I shot some bullets near their legs. 

Now its time for rehearsal guys, isnt it?

Dekel asked for 5 minutes more. Shlomi said "fine dekel, but tell yariv no shooting"

I can't explain, but there are some musics that move something inside of me. Like this Rick Ross.

It happenes to everyone. But in this case, I usually don't listen to this type of genre.

But when I do, I try to find some unique music clips. And so, I have bumped over this one, which got stuck in my head.

I had to share it, since I think that while listening more and more to this track, you will find an amazing production. A great collection of sound which penetrates deep into your soul.

Music is a matter of taste, and I like this clip. I am sure that you will know to appreciate it, even if you never listen to this type of music.

If you do listen to hip hop. Rap or D&B you will surely LOVE this track.
